Feature Interview with Seth Lerer
With so much emphasis on math and science and technology, educators like Dr. Seth Lerer worry the value of an education in the humanities is being diminished. Lerer is the Dean of Arts and Humanities and Distinguished Professor of Literature at the University of California San Diego, and a noted author and lecturer. In this feature interview, Lerer talks with News Director Sally Mauk about his love of literature - and why he thinks reading and storytelling are important, whether you want to be a teacher or a doctor.
Seth Lerer - Feature Interview from 4/29/2013 [MP3].
